Fish here is a Soul. Let us see from the Wikipedia. Common snow trout is commonly found in the Himalayan region of India, Bhutan, Nepal, Pakistan, and Afghanistan, also in Tibetan Plateau, south west China. This species is adapted to fast-flowing, cold-water streams of Himalayan rivers. This species can be found in mountain rivers dwelling among rocks, feeding on algae, aquatic plants and detritus. They usually breed in April and May. Common snow trout has great commercial and cultural values to the local communities. They are much sought after as a consumption fish. However, their population is threatened by a number of factors including over fishing, pollution, the damming of rivers and the introduction of exotic fish, particularly salmonids and the population is declining.
